Lawrence Brian Fine Art
My paintings and drawings are a reflection of my emotions and the world's emotions of those who may be strong but still in need. They show the many struggles, afflictions, and challenges we may face and overcome. My artwork takes a critical view of social and cultural issues and beliefs that revolve a lot around asperger's syndrome and autism.
My artwork is schematic inviting the viewer to move and explore into a space of speculation. Your mind tells you if you are looking at an optical illusion or a true form.
I think of my formations as unfinished wares of fragments: objects, drawings, paintings, and other visual brain music. They are composed in which the concept and readymade are used to question our making of the world through language and knowledge with exploration.
Throughout all cultures, the importance of human frailty has threaded the reality of the human condition. Having Asperger's syndrome, it amazes me that communication looks so easy but it can feel almost impossible to me and because of this for me to make a difference I express myself to you through my Art.
I use many different kinds of techniques with a paintbrush, my fingers, sponges, pallete knives, or pouring mediums parchment paper. Anything I can use to create a work of art. For my drawings I use calligraphy pens or drawing pens of the finest quality. If you have any ideas please feel free to email me. I would be more than happy to hear and learn new ideas. I can make custom orders upon request unless if you like what you see.
